As ad-hoc is not available in Win8,here is a method to share your Internet through Wifi...
Firstly,switch on ur Wifi.........;)
Then,go to command prompt and run it as Admin.
(For this.....you no need to search
Just click "Windows+X"
There it is.....command prompt(Admin)
In the command prompt,write
"netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=<Wifi name> key=<password> "
and then press ENTER.
Then,write..
"netsh wlan start hostednetwork"
Now,go to "Network and Sharing Center" and then open "Change Adapter settings"
In that,just click on "Sharing" tab...
And then....
tick the box before "Allow others to _______"(See the screenshot)
Dats it...
your internet connection is shared.....:)
If you wanna stop the network....just write
"netsh wlan stop hostednetwork"
