To find the mac address or physical address

Method-1:

Go to Command prompt.
(To know how to go to command prompt, see the before post)

Write ipconfig/all and then press Enter.

Then, search the content for“Ethernet Adapter Local Area Connection”.

Just under that, you’ll find a 12 letter code which is your Physical address or Mac address of your computer.

Method-2: (applicable whenever you are connected to a network)

Go to “Network and Sharing center”.

Then click on your respective Connection and then click on ‘details’ option.

A popup window appears.

In the popup window that appeared, a 12 digit code will be there against the property 'physical address' which is the physical address/Mac address of your computer.
